After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, Mike worked for Ford Motor Company for 10 years. Mike left Ford and joined London Life. After 3 years, he joined a Property & Casualty insurance company. In 1989, he founded Blewett & Associates focusing on Employee Benefits, Retirement Savings, Individual Life and Income Replacement Insurance.
Mike is an active member in the community. He is a past member of the Merrymount Children’s Centre Operating Board and past Chair of their Foundation Board. Currently, Mike is the Chair of the Addiction Services of Thames Valley Foundation. He is also a member of the Ontario Trucking Association.
Mike is a Certified Health Specialist (CHS) and is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He has also been a proud member of ADVOCIS, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada for the past 29 years.
Senior Account Executive
Trudy has been with Blewett & Associates from inception in 1989 and excels in all aspects of benefits administration, contract interpretation, problem resolution, legislation and compliance.
She is committed to building long-term relationships with our clients and providing support through plan administrator training. She also coordinates and facilitates regular meetings with our clients and their Disability and Employee Assistance Plan providers.
Senior Account Executive
Kim is a Specialist in the insurance field — having worked in the Group Benefits and Pensions industry since 1985. One of her most notable career highlights is her 12-year role as Group Marketing Manager for Southwestern Ontario.
Since joining Blewett & Associates in 2006, Kim has thrived in her role as Senior Account Executive. She works diligently and thoroughly to ensure plans are designed that suit clients’ unique needs and remain financially sustainable long-term.

Executive Administrative Coordinator
Sherry made the move to Blewett & Associates in 2011, and is a driving force behind the company’s daily operations. She’s passionate about using her diverse set of administrative and customer-relations skills to support our clients and internal team of professionals.
With over 20 years’ experience, Sherry understands the needs of our Individual and Group operations and offers exceptional administrative support.
Senior Client Service Specialist
Prior to joining Blewett & Associates in 2007, Vicki worked for three major insurance companies over her 20 years of experience in the industry.
Vicki is dedicated to providing exceptional support to our Group clientele. Her vast knowledge and experience ensures timely and accurate answers. She represents our client’s interest when dealing with the Insurance Company.

Employee Benefits Renewal Specialist
Nancy acquired over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry prior to joining the Blewett & Associates team in 2011, and is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in customer-relations and administration with a focus in Employee Benefits Renewal.
Nancy assists our Group operations by working with insurance companies to collect renewal documentation and prepare renewal reports for presentation to our clients.
Business Development & Communications
Laura joined Blewett & Associates in 2014 and previously spent 16 years at a major telecommunications firm in Sales Support with a focus on implementation and customer experience. Laura has also worked in the Health Care and Dental environments with a focus on communication and patient experience.
Laura focuses on identifying new client relationships and enjoys liaising and interacting regularly with existing clients.
Client Service Associate
Kristin joined our client service team in 2013 with 20 years of experience in the dental industry providing customer service and plan administration.
She ensures prompt and accurate responses to our Group Clients and acts as an intermediary between the client and the insurance company. She resolves any claim problems which may arise.
Human Resources Consultant
Denise has a career in Human Resources spanning over 25 years. Supplementing her Fanshawe College education, she has completed a variety of HR and leadership programs with Queens, Western, St. Francis Xavier and Athabasca Universities. A CHRL designated HR professional, Denise repertoire includes creating policies and related work practices, administering benefit plans, organizational development, negotiating collective agreements, managing grievances and arbitration's. She has helped create Human Resource departments, developed training curriculum for staff and management, as well as facilitated training sessions for agencies in the not for profit sector in Developmental Services.
