Plan Administration
Each client has unique needs. Our goal is to work with you in identifying your requirements and work toward meeting those needs to the best our abilities. We are also aware that needs change over time. Our client service strategy, is to communicate on a regular basis to review your situation and determine where changes are needed to better meet your company's expectations and those of the plan members. This could apply to the level service and/or the group benefit plan.
Specifically, we can provide the following level of service to improve plan administration and management where needed:
- Development of a simplified benefit booklet.
- Guidance in establishing internal policies and procedures for the employee benefit plan (enrollment, termination's, plan updates, communication, etc.)
- Survey of the plan members (if required)
- Assistance/training on the on-line service features available with your insurance carrier.
- Review of your billing statements and billing process.
- Together we will establish long-term strategic objectives for your group benefit plan to coincide with company goals and growth plans and insurance needs.
- Plan review and restructuring where required.
- Detailed plan overview with the Plan Administrator.
- Full telephone and, where geographically possible, on-site assistance.
Our Website provides additional service to the plan members through our on-line “Questions and Inquiries” form. Plan members now have the opportunity to ask questions at any time of the day or night in complete confidence. The information exchange is dealt with directly between our company and the individual plan member.
Reporting
Keeping our clients and ourselves informed is the key to maintaining a cost effective benefit plan and the win-win relationship. We provide the following:
- Usage reporting.
- Plan forecasts.
- Plan revision recommendations (where required).
- Plan renewal reports and full review.
- Plan quotations and full review (where required).
- Review of external factors impacting employee benefits.
- Through our web-site we provide current information available to all clients, plan members, and site visitors on the following topics:
- Benefits, insurance industry, government (in relation to benefits), health and medical, leisure, investment, pension/RRSP, tax planning and business advice.
On-Site Assistance
It is important that we know and understood all we can about our clients. The best way to accomplish this objective is, where geographically possible, to visit our clients work place regularly. Our on-site activity is depended on our clients needs. Our clients can expect the following on-site assistance:
- Plan orientation for existing members, Plan Administrator and new enrollments (where geographically possible)
- On-line services instruction/training
- Individual life, disability, and critical illness insurance needs.
New Clients
Our transition process working with a new client is very detailed and extensive. We take the time necessary to ensure we understand your needs, history and goals in order to make the best recommendations to provide you with the most cost effective solutions for your company and the plan members. We don’t have the answers or solutions to questions, problems or requirements we haven’t asked or identified. We begin by asking you.
